Canal At Whitfield Court, Kilmeadan
18th century man-made canal at Whitfield Court, Kilmeadan. This is a stretch (looking South) of the Eastern canal bounding Dooneen Marsh. The sloping ground to left of canal is known as the Bullock Field. In the distance at the end of the stretch of water can be barely seen the buildings of the original Whitfield Court now totally demolished.
