Genealogical Questions
Unfortunately Waterford County Museum cannot undertake general private genealogical research queries. However if we have any information on a particular individual we are happy to share that information free of charge. If you send us a genealogical query please try and provide us with as much information as possible.

Military Questions
Please note that Waterford County Museum does not hold any military archives. We have a small collection of artifacts relating to county Waterford born people. Before you send us a question on your military ancestors please read our article on Tracing Your Irish Military Ancestors. General military questions (non genealogy) should be posted to the Britregiments Mailing List. The people on this list have more expertise on British military history than any of the museum staff.

Valuing Artifacts
Waterford County Museum does not undertake valuations. Such work is best done by specialist valuers and dealers.
