Dan Fraher & Family, Dungarvan

Dan Fraher photographed with his daughter Cáit and son Maurice at an unknown photographic studio. Dan was the owner of the Gaelic Outfitting Store, Grattan Square, Dungarvan and the owner of the Dungarvan Gaelic Field. Dan leased the field from Captain Richard Curran in 1885 and developed it into a sports field. On the 31st March 1912 he bought the sports field which is now known as the Fraher Field.
