Railway Line At Carroll's Cross
The railway line at Carroll's Cross with the railway lodge and gates in the background. The two storey house on the railway platform is partly obscured by overgrown trees. This is part of the Mallow - Waterford railway line. The last train ran on this line on Easter Saturday, 25th March, 1967. The Mallow - Waterford line was Ireland's last non-radial railway served by express trains.
