Helvic Pier

A bustling Helvic Pier on a summers day with people looking at the boats from the pier. The two fishing boats in the foreground are Taobh A Ghleanna (built at Killybegs in 1959), on the outside and probably The Vega which was registered at Waterford on the inside. In the background is the Helvick Lifeboat and halfway up the hill can be seen Helvick Lodge. The two old men in the background are Nicholas Fitzgerald (left) and Mike Harty (right).
