President Sean T. O'Kelly's Visit To Dungarvan
Mr. Donal Moloney (Vice Chairman Dungarvan UDC) with President Sean T. O'Kelly and his wife Bean Uí Ceallaig on the president's visit to Dungarvan where he signed the visitor's book in the Urban District Council Offices, The Town Hall, St. Augustine Street, Dungarvan. Also present were: (standing from the left) Mr. Liam Comerford, teacher, Mr. Tom Walsh, Town Clerk, Mr. Michael O'Meara, Rate Collector , Mr. Michael Nagle, editor/owner of "The Dungarvan Leader" newspaper making notes and Mr. Eugene Deery, U.D.C. Town Clerk. The president's visit to Dungarvan probably coincided with the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Irish College in Ring which took place in 1955 and which he also attended.
