Old Dromana Bridge And Gate Lodge
A view of the old Dromana Bridge. The centre span of the bridge (on right of photograph) could be opened to allow large boats to travel up the river to Cappoquin. Dromana Gate is a Hindu-Gothic gate lodge on the road from Cappoquin to Villierstown, built in the 19th Century to mark the marriage of a popular local landlord and MP. This view is taken from the Cappoquin side.
